When is the deadline for REGISTRATION?
One Island Bands’ registration is open from the day our website is launched until costumes are sold out.
. Always register via our website to ensure registration is valid.
What are my payment options?
All major Credit and Visa Debit cards are acceptable for Online payments.
Payment may be made in full or by making a down payment upon registration.
We also offer the option to make additional payments.
IMPORTANT – All final costume balances must be paid by Tuesday 15th September, 2026 Costumes will be sold and deposit forfeited if balances are not paid on time.
Can I get a refund if I no longer wish to participate?
No. One Island Band does not offer refunds.
Carnival costumes are customized items. They are custom made to the measurements you provided.
What do I need for costume registration?
For registration, you need the following size information.
Ladies:
- Actual Bra Size (34A, B, C)
- Hipband Size (in inches)
- Bottom Piece Size (S, M, L)
Ladies:
- Bra Option – if applicable (Regular Bra, Wire Bra, Monokini, Whole Piece)
Ladies:
- Bottom Piece Option – if applicable (Bikini, Thong, High Waist, Boy Shorts)
Men:
- Waist Size (in inches)
- Pants Size (XSmall – 5XL)
Female & Male:
- T Shirt Size (XS – 5XL)
I did not get a costume; can I be placed on a waiting list?
One Island Band does not maintain a waiting list however, there are very rare instances where a masquerader may cancel their order and notify us. Please email oneislandband@gmail.com and we will try our best to get you a costume however we cannot make any promises.
I have purchased a costume from another masquerader. How do I transfer the costume to my name?
One Island Band can facilitate costume transfers.
Please follow these steps:
- Ensure the seller provides One Island with a letter authorizing the transfer of ownership to the new owner.
- The new owner now absorbs full responsibility for the costume.
Alternatively, the original owner can send an authorization email to oneislandband@gmail.com from the email address used when purchasing their costume.
Do I need ID to collect my costume?
Yes, you will only be given a costume with ID of the owner as named on our system during registration/purchase online.
I’m unable to collect my costume. Can another person collect on my behalf?
Yes. We do provide 3rd Party Pickup. Follow the instruction in your account to facilitate.
Alternatively, you can send an authorization email to oneislandband@gmail.com from the email address used when you purchased your costume.
When is costume distribution?
Costume Distribution Schedules will be emailed to all masqueraders, posted on our website and social media platforms.
Distribution is carded to take place from Wednesday 7th October – Friday 9th October. The final date of costume distribution is Carnival Friday, after which all uncollected costumes will be sold and payments forfeited.
If, due to travel arrangements you are unable to reach us by Friday, please email oneislandband@gmail.com

What do I get when I come to Costume Distribution?
When you get to Distribution, you’ll receive everything you need to get ready for an unforgettable Miami Carnival experience:
- Your Official One Island Costume
- Complimentary Jouvert Package – Includes essential Jouvert items and surprises to get you road-ready.
- Exclusive One Island Band Goody Bag – Packed with carnival essentials and special giveaways.
- Jouvert Wristband – Required for entry into the Jouvert experience.
- Carnival Sunday Wristband – Your access pass for Road Day celebrations.
Important: Your costume is not complete without your wristbands!
Masqueraders not wearing the full costume of the section they are registered in,
along with their wristbands, will be removed from the band.
Failure to walk with your cup means you will be unable to obtain drinks (no excuses).

Can I wear or design my own costume?
No. One Island Band does not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.
You MUST wear your full One Island Band’s costume together with wristbands in order to be within the Band.
Masqueraders failing to follow these strict guidelines will be escorted out of the band.
Can my family members/friends jump in the band?
One Island Band only allows registered masqueraders to jump in the band. Non-masqueraders may observe from the side-lines outside the band; however they will not be allowed to participate.

Each Section may have different additional options.
Costumes may come with options for larger headpieces, collars, backpacks and other embellishments at an additional cost.
If these options are available, they will be detailed on the registration page and in the section photo galleries, along with the cost attached.

CAN I WEAR OR DESIGN MY OWN COSTUME?
No. One Island Band does not allow masqueraders to design their own costumes.
You MUST wear your full One Island Band’s costume together with wristbands in order to be within Band.

COLLECTIONS
